THE DEVIL WEARS PRADA

Hello Classy People,
Although it is a fashion film in general, it focuses on identifying distinct profiles from the fashion world.
I have been blogging about #Fashion since 2010 on my platforms, but I have been a contributing writer for several magazines since 2007.
Therefore, this movie is close to my professional journey.

Deep Personal Connection
I find the movie deeply relatable because it mirrors my 18-year professional journey as a fashion writer and editor.

The "Andy" Archetype
Even after two decades, I identify most with Andy, viewing her as a symbol of the struggle, instability, and emotional
"roller coaster" inherent in the industry.

Emotional Depth
While many see the humor in Miranda's sarcasm, I found the film
tremendously emotional, even moved to tears by the characters' journeys.

Evolution vs. Core Reality
While the "leaves" of the industry have changed over 20 years, the "roots" remain the same.
The film is a realistic portrayal, not fiction.

The Power of Storytelling
I praise the movie for recognizing that writing, reporting, and documentation are the
"bridge" between the industry and the public.

Fashion as a Multi-Disciplinary Art
The film highlights that fashion isn't just clothing, it is a blend of art,
architecture, and human sciences that must be preserved.

"Serious Homework"
While the general public sees a stylish comedy, industry professionals view the film as a serious reflection of their daily labor and professional
"homework."
