THE WEDDING

Hello Classy People,

Being a bride was a vision since I was a little girl, an image fading away in my late twenties until my husband proposed to me in June 2019.

Our engagement was the period to plan our wedding. We didn't have the intention to hold the title of fiancé for so long!
Family members and friends who care about us are dispersed, in different places, so it's challenging to set a date when everyone can make it.
We decided to write down the guest list before setting a date, and the last thing we expected was the arrival of the PANDEMIC.

The Covid nightmare crushed our plans harshly, and I surrounded myself with faith to face the unknown. My fiancé at the time traveled about a week before the emergency state, so we spent the lockdown separated on two different continents.
It was a test for us as individuals and as a couple sentenced to live a term of a distanced relationship due to the unstable states of the borders.

We have spent a long time without being able to see each other due to difficult circumstances, during that time we have both grown individually without ever cutting our sacred love bond.
Love, patience, and our determination to stick to one another no matter what gave us the strength to overcome one painful test of our lives!

The picture of our wedding became so blurry, so we left it to the hands of destiny. Everything has changed because God's plans were radically different from ours.
Unexpected circumstances, in addition to the pandemic, have crossed our paths to leave us lost.
Losing our past bearings guided us toward our future ones.

After our reunion, we started our new plan because, believe it or not, we became new people with the same souls.
And our new plan included our wedding!
We had to rewrite a new guest list because troubled times showed us that some names on the previous one didn't deserve to be present.
We had to put up a new plan for our wedding and life!

We began the preparations four weeks before D Days, during Ramadan, which is unusual, but destiny wanted us to do it that way. We planned our wedding ourselves and delegated a few missions to family and friends two weeks before the special day because of exhaustion.

I learned many tips while planning our wedding, and I'm sharing every detail in a video on my YouTube Channel.
