MARRAKECH / EPIC YOGA FESTIVAL NIGHTS

Namaste Classy People,

Nights at the EPIC YOGA FESTIVAL were just EPIC! Everyone looked beautiful walking into Al Maaden Golf & Resorts to stop by the makeup stand and then to the stage area. On Friday, an amazing number of international people attended the opening night and were standing up to celebrate MOROCCAN TRIBE.

Celebrating Moroccan artistic culture with Kali G, the DJ and musical director of the festival, the Gnawa musician Fehd Benchemsi, the singer Sonia Noor, the dancers Khalid Sansi (Gnaoua group), Vandana Hart and Yoga teachers Emmanuelle Cueff, Saloua Hachami, Lamonte Goode and Samuel Nwokeka was a sensational emotional trip.

The EPIC YOGA FESTIVAL 2019 gave us the chance to participate in a unique Master Class driven by the energy of Gnawas and trance-inducing Arab vocals. The ambiance was so clean because of open-minded people and so clear because of many stars watching us.

The second night was titled BACK TO THE ROOTS, so it was meant to inspire by presenting the tribal side of Africa while living through an experiential journey invoking the spirit of some of the greatest eras of human history. DJ Jo Kisila, the Senegalese band Africa Bégué, the kora virtuoso Mbemba Diébaté, the dancer Vandana Hart, a fire show with Francesca Pietrosanti &Patrizio Piraino and Yoga teachers Tarin Calmeyer, Lamonte Goode, Paige Elenson and Catherine Njeri were all ON FIRE!

The 2nd night of the EPIC YOGA FESTIVAL was probably the most animated and energetic night of the festival. No one left without shaking a leg, which proves the level of comfort people felt around each other.  The sound of the Tam-tams is still resonating in my ears, and the picture of everybody’s happiness is still on my mind.

The 3rd night was a private party organized for the crew of the EPIC YOGA FESTIVAL and public figures under the theme of ALL WHITE EVERYTHING! I just found it terrific to end up the festival in this way, in a night where we all became familiar to each other. Mövenpick Mansour Eddahbi managed to do a beautiful set up at one of its pools to welcome us and celebrate our journey!
