The morning to salute the sun and to embrace the energy floating around us is here! A refreshing Sahara Sunrise was practiced this morning with the musical trio Blackfeet Orchestra, the hang pad player Manu Idhra, the singer Souha and the yoga teachers Camila Harris, André Kunkel, and Giulia Lops.
Marrakech blessed the session with its warm sun and gentle morning wind, while the attendance of people blessed the green grass of Al Maaden Villa Hotel & SPA. The master class opened with a nice poem in the interest of guiding people towards peace and love, so the cloud of placidity reigned over pure souls.
I would like to mention the tremendous idea of merging yoga with different musical sounds and its effect on people. I have always believed that music is a type of gasoline because it just boosts you mysteriously and helps you explore more of your physical capacities.
We had the pleasure to be introduced to another side of yoga, a salutation between the yogi and the picturesque Marrakech sunrise. Everything was so relaxing until the initiation of practicing some martial art movements! Everybody was fully awake for some action, which added a sparkly shooting star to the Sahara Sunrise.
The journey continued as we stepped into Palais des congrès Marrakech to hear Moundir Zniber’s voice coming out of the speakers. His speech was generous because he included examples from his personal life every time he shared a piece of knowledge, and then he passed the microphone to projects holders so they could talk about their connection with Africa.
Today’s Epic Yoga Festival afternoon beautifully ended with the unforgettable open heart experience lead by Kenza Mekouar, Jérôme Boulenger and Devajeet Kaur. A graceful sound touched by the Indian air conquered the Royal Hall of Palais des congrès Marrakech and left everyone acquainted with their new connections.
