Friendliness is the essence of DAR ATTAY, a space of food and art created in the middle of the Portuguese city of El Jadida. The idea of creating a traditional Moroccan corner to welcome tourists and locals is brilliant because it helps people to socialize around a table full of Moroccan flavors!

DAR ATTAY, which is The Home of Tea, serves the famous Moroccan mint tea along with a menu full of delicious choices. Its decoration is rich in Moroccan handmade accessories, and its hosts are rich with joyful and kind attitude.

Mister Aziz Mehdi, one of Doukala’s well-known photographers chose a wall of DAR ATTAY to hang a collection of photographs which added another artistic impact. The place hosts small cozy events, where traditional Moroccan Music is valued.

I actually loved the place because it owns high energy of comfort, therefore all its sophistication is beautifully wrapped in its simplicity.
