MARRAKESH / Ben Youssef MADRASSA
Bonsoir Classy People,
Walked between walls that have witnessed thirst for knowledge, walls that were made by graceful hands, and walls that housed more than 500 students.
Madrassa Ben Youssef (School of Ben Youssef) is an ancient college of the 14th century, named after the son of Yusuf Ibn Tashfin, the great Moroccan leader and co-founder of the red city of Marrakesh.
This place attracted so many people around the world, as a result, it was named the Number 1 Tourist Attraction 2017 of Marrakesh.
Ben Youssef Madrassa's architecture allows the right amount of light to get inside and its design allows all the visitors to be lovers…
Whenever I walk into a historical place, I wish walls could whisper some stories. Old events can only be told by buildings that witnessed them…
Walls didn’t talk to me but showed me ways where people before me used to walk and sleep.
Some students used to stay in a 1m2 room,
And
they stayed…
And
they graduated…..
I don’t want to tell you more about this beautiful place because you must visit it and build your own vision. Make sure you put it on your MUST VISIT list then share your experience on the comment section below this post.
