TANGER FASHION WEEK 2025
Good Morning Classy People,
On the morning of June 11th, I arrived in Tangier for Tanger Fashion Week, where I'm enchanted to be the blogger covering the event for social media. After refreshing myself with a shower and a nutritious snacks, I dove right into work.
I reconnected with part of the team I had met in Marrakesh a few months ago and was introduced to designer Saher Okal, with whom I’ll be filming my first video for the event. The venue, Palais Moulay Hfid, is a stunning ancient Moroccan palace showcasing traditional architecture and interior design, providing an inspiring backdrop that has graced Tangier for centuries.
During rehearsals, I had the opportunity to meet several models and designers, gaining insight into my content creation schedule and establishing connections for collaboration.
On June 12th, I was honored to be part of a private group visiting The Lalla Asmaa Foundation for Hearing Impaired Children and Youth.
This visit allowed me to learn about the incredible work Her Highness Princess Lalla Asmaa does to support these children, providing them with education, healthcare, and the essentials for a fulfilling life in society. Engaging with various individuals during this visit, I discovered Joe Challita’s dedication to fashion and preserving Lebanese heritage.
I also enjoyed enlightening conversations with Mayssa Maghrebi and Nelly Karim regarding the intersection of fashion and social impact evident at Tanger Fashion Week.
You can find more details on my Instagram.
The night of June 12th was our Gala Night, where Chopard introduced exquisite pieces of jewelry alongside Caroline Scheufele's 16 stunning gowns.
The evening was truly magical, with a limited guest list that added to the exclusivity of the event. The appearance of British actor Luke Evans brought an exciting energy to the night. I had the pleasure of introducing him to the talented Moroccan actress Mayssa Maghrebi. Together, we conducted a brief interview discussing fashion and the influence of culture on our styles, a moment that I truly cherished, as both Mayssa and Luke exemplify the elegance and charisma I love to capture in my videos.
I returned to the hotel around midnight to work on editing content and got to bed by 2 am to prepare for the next day’s adventure, a trip arranged for media and PR professionals to Chefchaouen.
This was my first visit to Chefchaouen, and although the time was brief, I was captivated by the town’s charm and managed to capture beautiful visuals amidst its iconic blue walls.
On June 13th, we had an impressive lineup of 13 designers ready to present their breathtaking collections, each of them having worked tirelessly in preparation for this moment.
I focused on capturing backstage content before settling in to watch the fashion shows. I aimed to immerse myself in the ambiance, finding the perfect angle at the photographer's corner to get the most authentic visuals.
The following day, June 14th, brought a sense of fatigue, but we all knew we needed to muster our remaining energy for the final day.
I returned to Palais Moulay Hfid during the day to create more content, and I also had my makeup done for the evening festivities.
After changing outfits, I headed back for the last night of fashion shows.
Tonight's presentations were distinct from those on the 13th, and that’s what I admire about Maroc Fashion Week organizers, their ability to embrace diversity. Wanting to soak in every moment, I decided to stay longer, enjoying a delightful Moroccan dinner filled with dancing and singing, a celebration of everyone’s hard work and the success of this edition, despite the challenges we faced.
My team and I poured our hearts and souls into delivering as much content as possible, so that each of you can experience this significant event in Morocco as if you were right here with us.
Thank you for joining me on this journey!
